D.EL.ED
D.El.Ed. or Diploma in Elementary Education is a two-year professional course that is done after Intermediate to work as a teacher in schools. According to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), It is mandatory for all teachers to complete a D.El.Ed. Course for Elementary, Secondary, and Higher Secondary Schools in India.
Description of Course
Students will follow the course prescribed by the NCTE & BSEB, Patna for 2-Years D.El.Ed. Program as and when notified.

Scope of the D.EL.ED Program:
The D.EL.ED program offers opportunities in teaching, education administration, curriculum development, and educational counseling. Graduates can work as primary and elementary school teachers, pursue further studies like B.Ed., or engage in government and private educational initiatives. The program also opens doors for roles in educational NGOs, content development, and teacher training programs, contributing to the overall improvement of the education sector.
Eligibility for the B.Ed. Program:
Candidate require at least 50% marks in Intermediate of all stream of education. All the reservation system should be followed according to the rules of admission
Curriculum
The D.El.Ed. course covers a range of subjects, including some foundation subjects (Educational psychology, philosophy and sociology). It also includes specialization in subjects or educational levels.
